GRACE WHO?
Grace Happens, Inc. is a non-profit(501c3) organization set up to aid women in recovery of drug and/or alcohol addiction. Our primary goal is to aid our residents in returning to responsible and addiction-free lifestyle. We do this by having rules in structure and discipline. Any medical assistance is outsourced at the resident's expense. We are located at 103 Richmond Ave., Nicholasville, Jessamine County, Kentucky.
Being a Christian is not a requirement on entrance nor departure. We are a self-awareness program that strives to help the resident to be in good relationship with themselves, God, and family, through the teachings of the Bible and study aids.
About Grace Happens, Inc.
We have established a structured program which consists of resident's being admitted upon completion of application, evaluation of commitment, adhering to a drug test, and acknowledgment of the fact that Grace Happens, Inc., is a Christ-centered program, and the fundamentals of freedom from addiction are taught through Bible studies, outsource AA/NA programming, in-house addiction, relapse, and boundary classes, Celebrate Recovery, weekly church and outsourced Step Studies. Other required classes(GED, Parenting, etc), can be arranged through out-sourcing. The resident is required to obtain a recovery sponsor. The resident is accepted to enroll for a period of six(6) to twelve(12) months, with six(6) months being the norm. Arrangement's are available for court's requiring less time, but should not be less that three(3) month's. Working is allowed, but commitment to work, is based on initial evaluation and progress of resident. Random drug testing is essential in the resident's recovery, as well as requested progress reports. Privacy is a matter of utmost importance, and any release of information must be approved in writing, by resident.
